Finance Assistant

We are looking to recruit a full time finance assistant to join our small, friendly and professional team. You will be working closely with the founders/Directors of the company.

The successful candidate will assist the finance team in all aspects. We see this as an excellent first role in finance, where the applicant will have a good personal development opportunity.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress within finance or other avenues in the company.

Duties will include:

Helping to run payroll
Producing invoices
Producing sales and purchase reports
Assisting with bank reconciliation
Producing credit control reports
Dealing with staff expenses and company credit cards
Helping to create financial reports to assist with management of the business
Experience and aptitude required:

Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop
The ability to work effectively in a team environment and to process deadlines
High attention to detail and orderly, organised approach
Working knowledge of QuickBooks would be advantageous
Sound working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Qualifications

Educated to GCSE and ‘A’ level

University graduate or relevant college qualification would be regarded favourably

Starting salary £15,000.00
